After Many Warnings...

We are fortunate to still have developmental centers (for play and fun- what 5 & 6 year old children should do) at the end of each day. After many warnings...the block center is now CLOSED! It is basically a crime scene - they just love to wallop each other with those foam blocks! I wonder what my precious little cherubs  will say - when they see this tomorrow morning?

We too still get some center time. I have "closed' centers before because of behavior but never thought of blocking it off with a sign. What a great way to get your message across.

If they are anything like my class, they will moan and whine and have no clue why you would do such an incredibly mean thing! Completely forget that you ever gave them one teensy warning (much less many obvious ones) ha ha good luck!

I recently posted about my Choice Time... I have big blocks but they are NOT foam and though I love them dearly they have been closed since the first week when someone split their eyebrow open...

This will definitely get their attention! Can't wait for you to post what the students' reaction was when they saw this.

I love the "crime scene" tape. I have closed centers MANY A TIMES!!!! My home center seems to be the ones that makes them CRAZY. They want to run around chasing each other in heels with a spatula?? Who knows!

This made me giggle! I have had to fire students from their classroom jobs before, so you doing this makes me feel better. Ha!

I am so glad when I see things like this! Not because your center closed - but because my precious angels do the same thing!!! I wish I had a dollar for every time I said, "No, you may not use the legos as light sabers. If you do, you will not be allowed to play!"...

AHHHHH!!!
